DH and I have massive commutes and we live in debt to our two slow cooker and rice cookers. Just put food on for the whole cooking free weekend

We've got new spice racks to paint and put up and I've been listing what we have -

Share your list for inspiring others GrinGrin

Right we have -

Curry powder
Cumin powdered and whole
Tandoori masala
Panch phoran
Black nigella
Bay leaves
Whole garam masala (so cloves cardamom cinnamon)
Garam masala powder
Coriander powder
Turmeric powder
Red chilli flakes
Spicy paprika
Smoked paprika
Dried mixed herbs
Chinese five spice
Thai seven spice
Lemongrass powder
Ginger powder
Garlic powder
Moroccan spice blend
Ras el hanout
Zataar
Harissa
Ethiopian berberi
Sichuan spice mix
Sichuan peppercorns
Chilli and lime powder
Jamaican jerk
Mexican spice blend

Store cupboard

Coconut milk
Lentils
Kidney beans
Chickpeas
Rice
Various pastas
Sundried tomato pouches
Chopped tomatoes
Dried onions

I'm quite pleased with the slow cooker meals we can come home to with these but if anyone else has any other offbeat ideas please share! As you see we have a wide and varied range of tastes!!

You have a lot of herbs and spices already - the only ones I might be tempted to add are dried oregano and cinnamon - both powder and sticks

As for the storecupboard - I would go for miso paste, rice vinegar, couscous, quinoa and soy sauce in addition to what you have

You need chipotle, it's smoky chilli and gives amazing flavour to stews, enchiladas etc.
