Looks like we will have no kitchen for a week. We have a microwave, fridge and kettle. Any bright ideas for meals?

Will you be able to stock the freezer in advance?

You can buy veg/potatoes that you steam in the microwave. Buy a ready cooked chicken/gammon from supermarket/butchers.

Invest in a slow cooker (can get one for about £20)

Oops pressed send too soon.

Can make chilli or bolognaise with microwave rice/pasta.

I'm sure you can cook a roast dinner in SC too.

Thanks user! Chicken from supermarket counter is great idea! Have lots of packets of microwave rice and veg but couldn't think what to do with them!

Er.... microwave meals? They're really good these days! Sandwiches/salads/jacket pot/beans on toast for variety?
