How can I turn this into a main meal?

I bought this from Lidl yesterday.

How would you turn it into a dinner? What would you have with it? I thought about making a sort of breakfast I the evening, and doing fried eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes with it. Any other ideas?

What is it?

Lovelybreadbin Mon 13-Mar-17 16:24:26

It's a potato rosti with Emmental and bacon in it.

Roast cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and a green salad

How many people are you trying to feed? 500g is not that much. I think you need to think of it as more of a side dish rather than the main event.

Ooh that looks delicious. The breakfast way seems like s plan or just with poached eggs?

If you Google Rosti with and then select images it comes up with lots of suggestions.

Yep it's absolutely crying out for some runny fried eggs. And maybe some baked beans.

Eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes sound great, so do beans and sausage.

Alternatively, poached chicken breast and green beans.

Definitely baked beans and eggs

Rosti pizza!

Ooh, fried eggs and baked beans sounds good. It'll be just for two adults. The pack looks reasonably big.

Thanks for the ideas. I'll try it tomorrow maybe. And then head back to Lidl for more if it's good.....

Turn it into breakfast with it taking the place of hash browns.
