Inspired by a recent thread...

Please could you show me photos of what your young child actually eats? And their age, please.

Happen to have taken a photo of today's lunch to kick us off - that chubby hand was holding several crackers spread with soft cheese. He is 22 months old.

Real sweetcorn cooked on the cob totally freaked him out for some reason, he loves the tinned stuff. Will post pics with more actual food in them when he eats more tomorrow.

If you go on Instagram there's a lot if pages dedicated to pictures of kids meals
I follow quite a few of them, I tend to follow the more 'real' ones rather than the quinoa/kale/chia seed loving babies but there are plenty of those too Smile

No pic I'm afraid but we had homemade stew with mash and broccoli this afternoon/evening. My four year old wolfed it down and said it was delicious while my 2 year old said it was poo poo and refused to eat it Confused still... you wine some you lose some I suppose

Thanks Nocapes I have just this day joined Instagram! I'll check it out.

Warts and nuggets and all is what I'm after, plus I seem to fill his plate and then just not care how much of it he eats, and wonder if this is all normal.

MrsDc7 My son audibly did a poo poo while eating this...

Just realised I haven't done the dishwasher tonight yet due to back pain, so can take a photo of what was left of tonights dinner. Leftovers of last night's roast dinner. He's eaten all the roasted parsnips which were a big hit because he knows what they're called, and has left loads of potato because I gave him way too much because I'd cooked far too many.
