If you could add a banana into the mix it would be even better-slow release carbs rather than the instant sugar release of grapes.

she likes all fruit apart from bananas (although she has eaten them in the past)

some people find it hard to eat breakfast

grapes are very suagary pear is good..you can buy it in a large jar if fresh is too awkward

or fine oats with the fruit

Yes they do have sugar but so do grapes believe me

\link
{http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/bananabranmuffins_77392.shtml\this recipe} has bananas in but you could just use raisins.

We have either beans, spaghetti, poached eggs, on toast or boiled eggs, cheese omelette's, then fruit and a yogurt, I do this for 5/6 and find it is actually easier than faffing about with cereal (don't like 'kids' cereals anyway, to much junk in them)

All my mindees sit at the kitchen table and even the ones that wouldn't originally eat breakfast now do. Its washed down with diluted apple juice.

shosha, its a shame, dd1 loves eggs but if she eats the yolk it gives her a rash and shes been sick too after eating an egg (allergy?)

sometimes i give her just the white but its a pita tbh

whooooosh i like that recipe, but its not for everyday is it

maybe for weekends for a treat

How about a smoothie? I whizz up yoghurt, ice, honey and fruit (often banana & strawberries) and get everything down my DD that way.

No not every day I agree-you could make savoury muffins though with cheese?

I wouldn't worry about it, sounds very healthy. and if you has a carb snack mid morning, I think it is okay

i only commented on sugar in grapes because hig sugar and not much slo release carbs will make it diifficult to last till lunch

best to try and avoid sugar hits and dips

tho i'm not much good at breakfast..i always take something with me if i'm not at home and able to have breakfast once i'm hungry

difficult with school..i used to be fainting with lbsl by lunch

jeez cod it was you who said yoghurts were bad for snack as sugar

make up your mind

so, its agreed that fruit and occasional yog is fine for brekkie

she would LOVE to get her hands on a bowl of shitey coco pops or some other but i refuse

i may try pancakes, she likes to make them herself and jam or whatever

she DOES flag mid morning and usually ends up with a roll and butter or the like

is she still at home if so i wouldn't worry and look at topping her up later....but keep the sugar levels down so that she doesn't get mood swings

if she was at school i would suggest getting her up early washed dressed etc drink and leave breakfast as late as poss
