Bread free breakfast, brunch and lunch ideas?

I'm giving up bread for a while, to see if it helps reduce bloating. Also because I need to lose weight post Christmas and lose weight generally. Also because I think I'm a bit addicted to it.

But I need loads of variety in my diet otherwise I get frustrated/unhappy. I can't keep eating the same things day in day out.

So thought I'd ask Mumsnet for all your lovely ideas.

Tia

They're poor substitutes but look on dietdoctor.com for their breads. Oopsie bread is one that I've made in the past that isn't bad. The almond flour pizza base is good too. Just check they fit with your nutrition goals as they swap carbs for fats and proteins.

Strangely I'm not a big fan of bread for lunch so my fav lunches are my salads and I put as much of each of these things in as I can each time and then use a low fat dressing (sometimes not that low fat like Salad Cream hmmmm yum!)

Lettuce
Cucumber
Tomato
Red pepper
Sweetcorn
Ham or chicken (the pre packe stuff is fine!)
Avocado
Feta, goats or buffalo mozerrella cheese
Cous cous (make my own up, sometimes add sun dried tomato paste to it!)
Potatoes (either tinned or boiled new potatoes)
Boiled egg

I like a huge bowl of mixed berries with 0% fat Greek yoghurt and a teaspoon of low sugar jam for breakfast.

Melon & ham

Switch to roggenvollkornbrot

It's a heavy, dark, moist rye bread

with whole grains and a slightly sour taste

Rye and whole grains can assist with weight loss

Buy roggenvollkornbrot at Lidl

Spanish omelette it has the bonus of using up any bits and bobs left in the fridge and can be eaten hot or cold.
Kedgeree is another option if you eat fish.
