What recipe are you using, I'm having a party next weekend and was going to do a luxury hot chocolate in the slow cooker for the children.

Lunar I do 4l seem skimmed milk, 1 small tub double cream, big scoop of Nutella and 175g cadburys drinking chocolate. I do it on high for an hour or so then leave on warm. Serve with squirts cream, mini marshmallows and sprinkles

Will 3.5l be enough spiderbabymum? That's only 100ml each - I would have thought each serving would usually be double that. I'd just switch it on high before you go and it should be fine when you get back

Why don't you preheat it and then just put in SC to keep warm?

Also agree that 3.5l won't be enough

Nutella in hot chocolate would ruin it for me. I really don't like nutella (or cream)

Wow, rude much? People are only trying to help.

I'd think if you out it on high then it will be done by the time you come back. Are you able to warm the milk in a microwave before? Just so it's not going in cold?

Wow. I was going to answer your question and watching out for tips to make my own even better but I might just make my own thread and ask my own questions after that incredibly rude response from the OP...

If you take the chill off the milk then, it should be fine on high then. Don't boil the milk, just warm it slightly.

Why bother?

Your doing tiny servings and just mixing hot milk with nesquick. Will take minutes to make in regular pan as it's just heat some milk and add powder. 100ml is expressing size. For 36 that's at least 10 litres. Just bowls two pans milk and chuck powder in

Nickname I don't like Nutella after but it's not noticeable somehow! I'm not a huge fan of hot chocolate but that recipe is the nicest I've ever had. Especially with a shot of something added Wink
