So I drained the xmas pudding vodka which has been soaking for three weeks (its fantastic by the way) but I have got a bowl of what was dried fruit now soaked in vodka.

What can I do with it? Need a simple idea (nothing complicated!)

I'd mix it with nice vanilla ice cream to make christmas pudding ice cream... (or make your own if you can be arsed - but there is no need).

Or make an Irish barmbrack with the soaked fruit - no tea needed.

Or put in a tin and put melted dark chocolate over it then break it up when set. I've done this with gin soaked blackcurrants and it was v nice.

Not sure I have time for baking just at the mo.

The xmas pudding ice cream sounds fab - just googled some recipes. Can you really just smash up some ice cream until it softens a bit, mix in the fruit (or xmas pud) and then refreeze??

Mincemeat, you just stir everything together so no cooking required and your fruit is already soaked.
