Cinnamon/cassia question

I am making a curry tonight that requires cinnamon sticks
I have some "Chinese cinnamon sticks" which are apparently cassia bark. Look like cinnamon sticks to me!

Will I be able to taste the difference?
A quick internet search tells me the Chinese type (cassia) is sweeter?

I never even knew there were different types of cinnamon sticks!! confusedshockgrin

In any of my Chinese/Indian recipes they're listed as either or so I doubt you'd taste any difference.
