Fussy eaters option for veggie Indian meal

I'm cooking an indian buffet for a birthday party. I'm vegetarian, as are a few other guests, there are some little kids and a few fussy adults. I'm fine with a token meat dish for the fussies but want the majority of the food to be veggie.

I've been thinking of doing something along the lines of- a dahl, spicy veg dish, mild veg dish, rice, breads, pickles, samosas and other snacky stuff, but I think I need something less interesting for the fussy eaters. I thought maybe some kind of meaty stew/casserole that could be eaten with the rice but i'm not sure. I know vegetables are frowned on, i'm not sure about sloppy. It has been semi seriously suggested to me to provide the fussiest guest with a plate of sausage rolls 😉

Any ideas?

How about some chicken breast chunks on skewers that could be eaten with plain naan. Normally I'd have marinated them to make tandoori chicken, but I'd leave them plain in this case. You should be able to buy them already made up from a butcher.

I'd stick to some plain chicken and plain rice and a naan.

Oh and where's my invite cos it all sounds yummy

I actually don't think the sausage roll idea is a bad one. Fussy eating little children don't really care about having a 'nice' meal, they just want something familiar to fill up on. I'd be tempted to get some simple basics, cheese cubes, sausage rolls, buttered white baps and so on for them.
For the fussy adults the chicken skewers suggested above is a good one, at least then they can join with the nann bread and maybe bravely try some of the curry 😄.

Plus one for plain chicken breasts. I was going to suggest marinated chicken thighs but fussy eaters often don't like bones. Or spice.

the sausage roll suggestion was for one of the adults 😄

the consensus seems to be chicken breasts- i should be able to manage that

I think problem with fussy eaters is they are all fussy in different ways. My (Indian) friend, her son wouldn't eat most things.

Plain bread or breadsticks usually works with some kids. Plain crisps, too.
