Well that was a revelation

DS is doing Catering at school. Each week he's given a brief and has to source a recipe to make. It's brilliant, dinner comes home in a box once a week, sometimes it's two courses!

Anyway, this week he made and very good leek, potato and bacon soup followed by this Eton Mess stacks .I was sceptical but he's in charge and hasn't let us down yet. Who'd have known you can make really rather good meringue in the microwave?

I remember seeing that a few weeks ago on Come Dine and being quite surprised - will definitely be giving it a go
