Keep in the fridge for 2-3 days, or freeze it.

Freeze it in bags. Freezer bags of course

Have you got any sandwich bags - the zip lock ones? They work just as well if you don't overfill them.

Good. It's just I've seen the harm that soup can do. People who discover it late then try to make up for lost time and make bigger and bigger batches to recapture that initial soup-high.

before you know it, you'll be way out of control skribble, probably buying more and more tupperware and bigger freezers to keep up with your habit.

It keeps much better in the fridge if you heat it to boiling point and then pour into an air-tight container, or a jug covered with clingfilm. Anything basically veggy will keep about a week using this method. Chicken soup and other meats, a bit less.

If you plan to freeze a creamy soup it's safer to only add the cream when you re-heat it, as sometimes the defrosting can make the cream curdle.

I just tried making the Riverford Thai Squash soup, it was GORGEOUS, the nicest soup I've tried for ages.

Its ok I alternat between takeaways and homemade soup so lots of tubs to freeze in.

Thanks for confirming what I thought about the cream.
