Is there such a thing as granola without sugar? If not what is the granola with the lowest sugar? I dislike nuts so ideally I want a granola without them.

It can be without sugar - quite a lot use sugar alternatives - like honey, maple syrup etc but it can also be made without any sort of sugar - I don't think those are widely available to buy though.....

I buy the Lizi's low sugar granola from Waitrose - it isn't cheap but I don't eat it every day and when I do I just have a small portion - it does contain nuts though so you might not like it....

If you want sugar free I have seen recipes on the net using eggs to bind/help with the crunch and no sugar, not sure of the taste though. Commercial granola is generally made with sugar (refined or unrefined e.g honey etc) and oil so rarely healthy. If you are adding dried fruit they are high in sugar too so it is a little self defeating to have done a recipe without sugar..

I've opted for Dorset cereals simply oats. It's absolutely delicious, tasty and quite filling so I'm
Sticking with it X
