Gelatine... Help!!

I am making this cream cake

It looks lovely but kinda on the soft side. I fear it won't set. I'm tempted to put some gelatine in. Would I need to adjust the ingredients or just plonk it in?

It's for my husband's birthday party so I really don't want to mess it up!!

I'd appreciate your opinions xx

What kind of gelatine are you using? Leaf or powder?
Don't just plonk it in though. Encorporate it with one of the ingredients
, I haven't watched the video but there must be some kind of milk/cream in it, dissolve it in then then you can make it in
