Chop and fry onion, add garlic and mushrooms, fry gently until soft. Grill streaky bacon. When bacon is cooked chop it up, stir into pan, add some cream and warm through on low heat. Stir in cooked pasta.
Serve with black pepper/parmesan/grated cheese ketchup Grin

make a tomato sauce, or heat up a jar.
Cook tagliatelli. Tear two balls of mozzarella into chunks. Handful of basil leaves.
Mix drained pasta into tomato sauce. Put half in bottom of oven proof dish. Add layer of mozzarella and some basil leaves. Repeat. Grate over extra parmesan if required. Bung in oven until cheese melts.

You can jazz this up with chopped bacon or chorizo bits, sweetcorn, peas or whatever takes your fancy really.

Put pasta on to boil. In a frying pan fry an onion and a clove of garlic in a big glue of love oil, add some smoked streaky bacon and sliced chorizo. Add some sliced savoy cabbage to pasta. Drain pasta and cabbage and toss in the chorizo mixture and grate in lots of fresh parmesan. Very unhealthy but absolutely gorgeous!

Salmon pasta

Boil any type of pasta, steam broccoli. Drain pasta. Add to a frying pan with cream cheese gently warming. Stir until cream cheese melted in. Add smoked or other cooked salmon. Add broccoli. Stir. Dish up. Easy peasy. And delicious.

Fry mushrooms and onion. Add packet of Boursin or Roule (sp?) and thin down with a bit of milk. Add chopped spinach if wished.

Heat a quarter of a pint of brandy. Heat carton of double cream. Meanwhile cook spaghetti. Mix heated brandy with the cream + chopped parsley + chopped smoked salmon (or prawns). Add the sauce to the cooked spaghetti, then add cubes of feta cheese on top.

Pasta, smoked salmon, creme fraiche, lots of black pepper

Chopped cucumbers, olives, baby tomatoes, chives with pasta. Add a dressing made with 3 parts extra Virgin olive oil 1 part red wine vinegar and whisk in 3 cloves of garlic which you cook first in with pasta and then remove and mash with a fork. Sometimes add mozzarella too if I feel like it.

Passatta, garlic, onions, Italian herbs, salt, pepper. Simmer on the hob jus before pasta is cooked add an egg to the sauce and stir in.

Jamie Oliver's jools pasta - sausages, celery, carrots and spring onions blitzed to mush. Dry fried and then cooked in tomato sauce with a bit of chilli. Love this and I use it to hide added veg for the kids too.

Crushed garlic fried in olive oil and butter, add frozen (or fresh) prawns, lemon juice, chilli flakes and parsley, salt and pepper. Stir into cooked and mostly drained spaghetti, lots of parmesan on top.
Takes about ten minutes is very cheap and very very tasty :)

Cacio e Pepe- which is simply pecorino cheese and black pepper, and aglio e olio- garlic and olive oil.

Both absolute favorites of my two from weaning to now (15 and 20)

Chuck in a big handful of peas, serve with a salad and have fruit for pudding. Best 15 minute key in the door to dinner meals in the world
