DH bought me an ice cream maker for Christmas. I'd wanted one for years but he bought it just when I gave up sugar!! Anyone have any healthy recipes I can make? I'm avoiding sugar and any other sweeteners including honey, agave, etc. Happy to have banana. Thanks.

If you are happy to use artificial sweetners you can just sub them for sugar in recipes. Fruit purees swirled through yoghurt ice cream are lovely - just churn the yoghurt until solidifying then drizzle in the puree and fold in. Strawberries can be simply blitzed raw with a little sweetener, raspberries are better lightly cooked and then sieved. You could see if the mix is paletable without sugar given your tastebuds may no longer need it though general advice is to sweeten a bit more than if eating at room temp.
