Hi guys!

I have a small business start up; we do prepared, organic kids recipe boxes for ages 2-8. You can select from a range of 20 meals from a menu on a quarterly, seasonal rotation.

The idea is that your kids can get into cooking and relieve the pressure of planning their food; subscription is accompanied by an interactive app with educational and fun instructions to introduce your children to cooking and healthy food prep!

I'm trying to get a feel for who is interested in this service - what are your thoughts / any further questions?

Meals are along the lines of Spaghetti Bolognese, etc.

Any feedback would be lovely.

So would this mean that me/child would cook a separate meal just for them as opposed to them having what the rest of the family is having?
The thing with Spag Bol is that I would make that for the whole family - not just for one child....I might get them involved in making it though and wouldn't need a special box scheme to do that...

Do you offer options for for bigger ingredient deliveries - i.e. where there are multiple children?

Do you cater for allergy sufferers?

Is this just for dinners or are there any breakfast/lunch options where children are more likely to have something different from the rest of the family?

Do you have to sign up for a certain amount of time or could you just get a one off?

How much does it cost on average per meal/serving?

Interested to know the cost per meal per child.

But...sorry...I don't think this is a brilliant idea. Surely if someone's up for cooking a meal - like spag bol or whatever - then as PP says, they'll do it for the whole family? Can't imagine why you'd do it just for the kids. Certainly when I'm doing separate dinners (about half the time) it's either a small portion of a 'family' meal from the freezer or it's something quick like an omelette or pasta or whatever. I wouldn't dream of making a 'family' type meal in a one-off small portion.

I'm also just wondering who your audience is? I'm inclined to think that most people who want to involve their children in food prep are likely to be people who cook already, in which case I suspect won't have a need for what is presumably going to be a relatively expensive way of making a meal.
