Nutribullet v's vitamix

My trusty nutribullet is on it's last legs and so I know I'm going to need to buy something new soon.

I'm really hankering after a Vitamix but the hefty price tag means it needs to be 100% worth it.

Can anyone give any advice on the comparison of the two? Ideally I'd like to start making my own nut butters and the soup function of the Vitamix would be fantastic.

Can I justify it though?

Any advice would be very gratefully received.
Thanks

I've got a nutribullet and I make almond butter with it and smoothie etc and it does a fabulous job IMO.

You could always try ordering a Vitamix from QVC and then you can try it for 30 days and if you don't like it then you can send it back

I don't work for them by the way - I just use the returns guarantee quite often!

Thanks everyone.
Blondie1984 - I didn't know that, thanks!

Sparklesilverglitter - I didn't know you could make almond butter in it! Does the machine not overheat?
