prunes in the cupboard!

Any ideas/recipes please?! Either sweet or savoury would be great!

Thanks!

Stewed lamb with paprika, turmeric, thyme, garlic, prunes, tinned toms and sliced almonds.

Or

Strain off juices, replace with liqueur of choice. Leave to steep for a few days then serve with ice-cream and something biscuity.

Or

Mash roughly and add to brownie recipe instead of other liquid. Prunes and chocolate are another very good flavour combo.

How about Far Breton? It's a French dessert which is a sort of baked custard with the prunes in - a lot nicer than i've described it

Or prunes make a really nice moist chocolate cake

I bought prunes by accident a few times, thinking they were dates and I've always gotten rid of them by chopping up and disguising putting into curry wink
