Stewed lamb with paprika, turmeric, thyme, garlic, prunes, tinned toms and sliced almonds.

Or

Strain off juices, replace with liqueur of choice. Leave to steep for a few days then serve with ice-cream and something biscuity.

Or

Mash roughly and add to brownie recipe instead of other liquid. Prunes and chocolate are another very good flavour combo.

How about Far Breton? It's a French dessert which is a sort of baked custard with the prunes in - a lot nicer than i've described it
