Just that really. It was the last series of the professionals, and Marcus Waring (sp?) made a homemade burger with cooled onions and rosemary, amongst other things. I had the episode recorded but before I could write it down, it was deleted.
The burgers were use best ever. Thanks if you can help!!

No I can't find it, it was the series before the one that's just finished. These things should be online! * stamps feet**

Do you have a university student handy? If so you might be able to go on Box of Broadcasts and find the episode.

Oh no, I was really excited when I saw this thread as it was an amazing burger and love to make it too!

If you find it can you post back?

I've found it - no real quantities though I'm afraid. But:

Dice half an onion and sweat in oil and butter, then chill.
Use chuck steak and bacon to make your mince.
Add rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, cooled onions and an egg.
Mix together, shape into patty and fridge.

Fry to seal and brush both sides with English mustard. Then transfer to the oven.

He then melted a slice of cheddar in top and served it in a toasted brioche bun with ketchup, fried red onions, streaky bacon, tomato and watercress.
