Have you checked for hot chocolate, choc ice cream in the freezer, forgotten jar of nutella and cocopops? Is there not even any left over Baileys?

Have you not got some drinking chocolate or cocoa powder in the cupboard?
when I get a choc craving really bad and there is none in the house which there rarely is - I make a strong hot chocolate drink (really strong as in spoon nearly standing up in it!)

Oh that's very bad ...and something that would never happen in my house!

do you have cooking chocolate, or cake mixes with chocolate buttons or something? You must have some chocolate somewhere

echo what the others said - find some cocoa powder and make biscuits, hot choc something like that.

Otherwise you might have to go the sugar route with a jam sandwich or soemthing.

Good luck - I hate it when that happens - have even made the excuse of needing to fill the car with petrol just to go to the garage!

LOL have done the petrol station one before too!

Have just scoffed a large box of chocolates and feel sick - you're better off without it.

d.h is a health/fitness fanatic(apart from booze that is)
Eating chocolate in front of him is asking for comments about wobbly bottoms & dimpled thighs etc. It's crummy.
Oh for a d.h into puddings instead of treadmills....dreamy sigh
p.s -the virtual chocolate is torture-thanks

I buy these and the tub fits nicely behind the bookcase and they are mouth size and easily sneaked in when no-one is looking. No dimpled thigh comments from my dh!

oh, dimpledthighs - tried Hotel Choc stuff for the first time after long hours over their brochure - sadly disappointed - for me, the classic still has to be Lindt Extra Creamy

Lullabyloo - we're not making this any better for you are we?!

Toast and honey is a desparation substitute for me...? (toast MUST be white...)

Report
Lullabyloo · 14/01/2007 21:45

can't even do that- white anything is a no no in this house.
I'm a 70% dark choc kinda girl though so toast n honey doesn't really hit the mark.
I'm going shopping first thing tomorrow......
