Rainbow Cardamom Milk

A few years back, when working in the City, I used to stop at the Tesco Metro near Cannon Street and pick up little tins of Rainbow Cardamom Milk. It's like flavoured evaporated milk, and absolutely yummy in coffee Smile However, I've since been completely unable to find it - not just in Tesco, but anywhere. A quick Google shows that Amazon lists it but it's always "currently unavailable". The only websites where I've found in seem to be in places like the UAE and Kuwait. I really miss it and I'd be so grateful if anyone knows where I can get hold of it in the UK! Grin

You may be in luck - these people claim to stock it and seem to be Leeds based. Grin

Thanks Moonlight! Unfortunately, that's the original flavour, rather than the cardamom one. Bums! Will keep looking!

Sad oh, sorry - was too pleased with finding something with 'Rainbow' and evaporated milk in the same phrase to notice 'cardamom' was missing. Blush

Hi...
Just saw your post... there is a store in southall london and its name is 'Quality foods', this store has both the cardomom flavour and original rainbow quality milk.
Hope you may find it. Enjoy

Any of the TFC ( Turkish Food Centre) shops in London will stock cardamom evaporated .I'll. there's about 10 stores so you should be able to find one you can visit.
They have amazing food so go prepared to buy more than a tin of milk!

Might an alternative be to add a drop or two of cardamom extract to coffee with regular evaporated milk?

I don't like sugar or milk in my coffee but use the Dabur extract for the lovely flavour. You can get it on eBay and I find it a good quick alternative to picking cardamom pods to bits and adding them to the grounds. It looks expensive but it's a decent size bottle and lasts for ages like vanilla extract does as you only need a drop or two.
