We have diff adult meals in our house as my kids hate chilli, pulses, eggs, curries and we do. But I am too anal about giving them freshly cooked meals and it's taking too long. So what can I fill my freezer or fridge with? What are your weeknight easy wins?

Easy family dinners are:
Spag bol
sticky chicken (just toss chicken pieces in honey, OJ, soy and ginger mix and roast or cook with garlic, rosemary and a glass of wine poured over them. Serve with rice and veg the DC will eat.
Shepherd's pie
Macaroni cheese
Satay chicken with rice, baby corn and sugar snaps
salmon with noodles and steamed veg
pasta bake
roast chicken, chips, carrots and peas
steak, chips and peas/salad
cowboy casserole (sausage and beans casserole) with mash
sausage and mash
pasta carbonara
kedgeree
chicken and bacon risotto
paella

Would they eat any of those?
(My two were very fussy for years. We weaned them onto chilli and curries with really mild processed food versions then gradually introduced bland home made ones and added spice gradually. Now they love them.

I often boil pasta with brocolli/peas/swwetcorn (one or all), drain the pasta when nearly cooked. I then return it to the pan and mix in olive oil, garlic (paste or chopped) and seasoning. I then stir in chopped ham and then serve in bowls. My DC, sprinkle cheese and really love this (it is also very quick to make).

What about pasta pesto, spaghetti with a tomato/cream cheese sauce?

Do they like cous cous? You could serve this with roast chicken and mix in roasted vegtables into the cous cous.
