Soups! Bean chilli. Generic pasta sauces (like nice fresh tomato sauce etc)

Ooh also - I made a couple of loaves of banana bread, cut into slices, wrapped each individually in cling film, and froze them. Great for instant 'ooh I fancy some cake'.

Dhal freezes really well. My recipe is on here, if you search. I usually add freshly fried onions, garlic and then fresh coriander to it after it's been frozen.

Lentil soup freezes well. That and some ready to bake rolls and fruit/cheese makes a nice easy meal.

Dahl, chilli, tomato sauce for pasta, leek and potato soup, any veg curry, lentil shepherd's pie, moussaka, even did Mac cheese (was a bit stodgier than usual but ok!). Banana bread in slices is a good idea. Could also do curry sauce so you can add whatever veg you fancy on the night. Enjoy! X
