Cooking a curry with yoghurt

I occasionally make a curry in the slow-cooker, with coconut milk etc, and I like to use yoghurt also to dilute the coconut calories... I realise I should be adding this slowly, but would it be a better idea to add the yoghurt at the end, or can I just put it all in at the start of cooking? TIA

Hi sponge.

I think the best thing to do is to wait until the very end, then add the yogurt and just let it warm through before serving.smile

I'd do the same as BamBam.

I put the yoghurt in at the end too.

Low fat yoghurt can split when added to hot things.
Make sure the curry is off the heat before adding or use full fat.
