Cheesey pasta stuff

I've been racking my brains for ideas on what to feed DD (15 months) for lunch. Everything seems to have tomato in it and as I'm a bit allergic to that I thought it best not to give it to her every day.

So anyway, I thought maybe a nice cheesey vegetabley pasta thing might be nice, preferably one I can make loads of and freeze, but apart from cooking the pasta I don't have a clue how to make it. Can anyone help?

P.S. Instructions in idiot language please!

Can you make cheese sauce?

Just make cheese sauce and mix it with any concoction of veggies and pasta that you like. Cook veggies (steaming is best), cook pasta, mix with sauce. Easy.

melt some butter in a saucepan and the add flour until it's a think mixture, cook that for a bit and then remove from heat and add milk a lttle at a time so you can stir it in without getting too many lumps

add as much milk as you want sauce and then return to heat and add loads of cheese and a little mustard powder.

when done add you choice of steamed veg and cooked pasta and voila
