Turkey help needed - urgent

I'm cooking turkey crown instead of a whole bird. It's about 6 pounds & I'm slipping butter & apricots under skin for a wee bit of flavour but I don't know how many apricots to use, anyone any idea?
I'm doing it today and freezing already carved, as we're going to my parents on Chrostmas Day & I don't want to be faffing about when I'm not really used to their oven. I've also posted in Christmas so the festive mums will see it

are you gonna chop the apricots or leave them whole?? i think it is something that you will know you have enough as you are doing it.

Wasn't planning on chopping maybe just halved, I'm going to try BBC site for ideas. Thanks

If you chop and stuff until you can't get anymore in, you will be fine, remember to either cook upside down or put foil over the top to stop them burning. You can always remove afterwards. I think this is one of those occasions where it doesn't really matter too much as they are not particularly strong tasting, like chillies

fresh or dy apricots?

you will need some kind of chutney or acidic accompaniment with it as it will be rather sweet
