Impressive but surprisingly easy dishes to make
I picked up the turkey this morning, I usually keep it in the conservatory overnight but as its so much milder than usual I think I should try and somehow fit it in the fridge.I was about to remove the giblets to make the stock à la Delia Smith but the turkey is really well sealed in a bag.As I'm going to probably end up squeezing it into the large veg drawer wouldn't it be better to keep any juices contained in the sealed bag, but then what do I do for stock for the gravy?I'm no cook - obviously!
Assuming the giblets are inside I would unwrap it and take them out and carry on as planned just leaving the turkey sitting in the veg drawer - easy to wash out after you gave taken the bird out tomorrow.
Thank you, I was panicking, it makes much sense to have the veg in the conservatory and the bird in the fridge.I'm putting it in an old roasting tray so I won't have to disinfect the fridge.
