2 yr old son not eating!

My son is 2 yrs old, and has recently stopped eating. He has never been a brilliant eater, but he would always try what you gave him. In the last week or two, he has started to refuse meals, even meals that he loved before.
He doesn't really have snacks during the day, but he has milk before he goes to bed.
At the moment, the only thing he will eat is ham and cucumber. This evening, for dinner, we tried pasta bolognese, and I put a tiny bit on his tongue, and he refused to close his mouth and wanted me to take the mince off his tongue.
He isn't properly talking yet, so anything I say to him, he just ignores. Even fruit that he once loved, like blueberries, strawberries etc, he outright refuses.
At this rate, he's only going to be surviving on milk. I know he knows when he's hungry, and it may just be a case of not being hungry at mealtimes.
