Freezing a fish pie

I have just prepared 2 fish pies, one I will cook tonight and the other I will be freezing.

Do I just cover the dish in cling film and pop it in the freezer or is there a better way to freeze it.

Do I then cook it directly frozen if so how longish or should I defrost it?

Cling film and freeze works for me, I tend to defrost then cook.

Use lots of cling and go round both ways.
