6 oz flour
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 tablespoon veg oil
300ml warm water
3oz salt

chuck it all in a pan, heat gently and stir till it goes into a ball of dough. leave for a few minutes to cool down, seperate into however many coloyrs u want, add a few drops of food dye to each lot and knead untill all mixed in. have fun!!

If you add the colouring to the water at the start, it's easier to get it a solid colour. Not that it matters much.

ah, but i have little tubs, and add the dyes after to make lots of lovely colours. not that they stay that way after the kids start playing anyway lol.

Surely you don't let them have more than one colour at a time??? Oh dear... I'm going to have to go and lie down, I've come over all faint...

so good, i let them glue in the living room and then didnt worry about the glue on the laminate. btw, is it easy to peel glittery glue off floors?

Much easier than it is to get glitter off the carpet.

actually, talking of glitter, if u have the fine stuff, more like dust than glitter u can add that to play dough as well for extra sparkle.
