What can I make with this??

I've got some meat, sweede (?sp), carrots n onions bubbling in a gravy/stewy saucey thing (planned to do oodles of pasties but forgot to add the potatoes and ran out of pastry)... if I chuck it in a casserole dish and slice potatoes over it, then bung it in the oven for a while - will that work?? Will it become something???

Or will I end up with weird potatoes??

Never do anything much apart from mash em or roast em usually.

yep, u could either cube them and chuck them in the pot 1/2 hour b4 u wanna have dinner, make a few dumplings with suet and flour and have a stew thing.

or, I think u slice and put egg over the top and
make a hot pot. not 100% over the egg bit but yes it will work thou - sounds lovely - jsut remember not to have too much fluids so the pot's sink if you're putting them on top.
