Need inspiration!

Mine is
Tonight courgette halloumi and giant cous cous salad

Weds
Lunch tomato and leek crumble
Supper chicken satay with stir fried veg and rice

Thurs
Supper cauliflower soup

Fri
Lunch mushroom omelette
Supper Salmon Chrameih

Sat
Lunch something quick with pasta
Supper mushroom risotto

Sunday
Arancini with tomato sauce

Starting Sunday so had some already
Breakfast wraps
Childhood salad
Fish, chips and mushy peas.
Hot and cold cheeseboard
Brisket lasagne
Ham and pease pudding
Barbecue chicken pizza.

Mine is
Chicken, baked potatoes, homemade coleslaw, salad.
Chilli, rice, sour cream, (double recipe, freeze half).
Home cooked gammon joint egg and chips
Something with the gammon meat, probs pasta bake, rest of meat sliced in freezer for lunches.
Lentil soup with gammon stock
Homemade pizza

This week has been and will be so awful i have already done next weeks!
I only eat left overs or boring things like beans on toast for lunch, can't do heavy meals in the middle of the day.

Monday - spinach and ricotta filo parcel w Greek Salad
Tuesday - Veggie Sausage casserole with mash
wednesday - vegetable thai green curry
thursday - gnocchi and red pepper bake.
friday - will be a lazy one, jacket potato/pizza something dull like that.

Monday: this gorgeous sticky salmon with stir fry veg & noodles
Tuesday: bacon, egg, m&s frozen rosti potatoes & baked toms
Weds: pasta with leeks, cream and smoked salmon
Thurs: fish pie from Cook
Fri: out for dinner, yay!

I've never heard of chrameih before, just looked up a recipe & sounds like something my family would like. Do you follow a particular recipe mrned?

Oh it's so good!

I roughly follow the recipe from Ottolenghi Jerusalem. Although he fries his steaks and gets them crisp first. I imagine this is very delcious but I cba so I poach the salmon in the sauce.

I posted mine on another thread on Sunday- but I've added extras, dropped some and made it all out of order so

Lunch pretty much daily - chicken and mushroom soup

-tonight- chickpea rissoles with tomato sauce

Tomorrow- chicken tikka masala

Saturday- burgers and sides

Sunday- roast duck stuffed with nutty rice

Monday- left over duck spring rolls with noodle stir fry

That's as far as I've got.

i am covering from 2-8(min), ILs arrive for friday, and all the chiddlers and entourages should be here for sunday next
sun/3/honey mustard pork and roast veg
mon/3/quiche, potato salad and green salad
tue/2/scampi and chips, salad (that's me, not ds2 aged 17)
weds/3/ is a black hole
thursday/3or4/ ditto, but it's dh;s problem, he's off
fri/4+/homemade pizzas
sat/6/fajitas and nonsense
sun/everyone/ Big roasty affair
mon/5+/big ham joint, salady or veg depending on weather

this is all subject to change and random fancies....which reminds me, i really liked the idea of mary Berry's sausage lasagne...so might work that in somewhere.

Ours always starts on a Saturday. This week we're trying to use up some of the random stuff in the freezer that DH has bought from the bargain fridge over the past couple of months.

Steak ciabatta's, sweet potato chips and salad
Mexican scrambled eggs with chorizo
Pulled pork
Smoked salmon and prawn salad
Fish cakes with stir fried vegetables
Homemade pizza with pasta as a side
Spag Bol

Lunch would be a sandwich or leftovers from the night before.

Mominatrix- your plan sounds lovely

Ours is uncomfortably meat heavy for me but the reduced aisle was full of meat this morning ( lamb mince a £1, 1kg chicken thighs £1, beef medallions £2 etc) and my freezer is already fullconfused

So

Today- lunch- chicken and ginger coconut soup
Dinner- tomato salad with fried feta and beef burgers

Mon lunch- beef and peanut salad with chilli ginger dressing
Dinner- moussaka

Tuesday lunch- leftover moussaka
Dinner- roast peri peri chicken with red onions and potatoes

Wednesday- lunch- leftover chicken sandwiches
Dinner- spring green and garlic pasta

Thursday- lunch- scrambled egg with smoked salmon or chicken salad if any left ( doubtful)
Dinner- shepherds pie with rosti topping

Friday- lunch- left over pie
Dinner- spaghetti carbonara

Saturday- lunch- left over veg soup and seed loaf
Dinner- chickpea and tomato curry and cashew nut rice
