We never store them in the fridge. I can't believe that you have never bought tomatoes before. Never?

never in the fridge. chill ruins the flavour. I leave mine on the counter top.

but I echo 4merly... really? never?

really, never ever, I only did this time because I'm making a slimming world roasted tomato and basil soup. I don't like the slimy feel and the seeds grin

You are not supposed to slide them over your body, they are for eating, although.....

grin SHD

I'm the same with bananas, love the smell and taste, but won't eat them because of the texture

It should be out of the fridge. I can't believe you've never had a tomato either.

Mine are in a nice bowl on the windowsill. Good luck with the slimming.

I don't buy tomatoes either. We don't eat them in salads/burgers etc. I use chopped tinned tomatoes for cooking.
I have literally only ever bought one for DS when I started weaning him to try.

Fridge. But if you buy them from Asda the sodding things will go mouldy wherever you keen them.

ah they were from asda. I'm going to make it today and freeze in portions I think grin
