I was fed up of eating the usual same-old meat - chicken, beef mince, chicken, lamb, chicken, pork chops, chicken, chicken, CHICKEN!!!

So I bought some turkey mince...

However, I have never cooked, nor eaten, anything containing turkey mince. I'm now completely stuck as to what I should do with it

Can anyone recommend a recipe?

I have made turkey meatballs with turkey mince before, they were very well received.
Mixed the mince with some breadcrumb, some chopped fresh coriander and basil, garlic salt, a blob of Boursin (garlic), fresh finely chopped onion and an egg. Roll into small balls and fry off in a frying pan, then mix into a sauce of your choosing.

I don't have a recipe for it as such, just did it as I went along, but it was much appreciated by the family. :)

We eat a lot of the usual beef mince dishes (chilli con carne, bolognese, cottage pie, meatballs etc) but I'm bored of it, so don't really want to just substitute the meat for turkey mince... I'd like something new, and interesting (but not overly complicated, or contain ingredients that I can't buy in a general supermarket)

Turkey mince instead of beef makes a lovely chilli, and enough of a different flavour to make it seem like a new dish rather than just a subsitution iyswim

I made this the other week which went down well - just served with some roast potatoes, veg and gravy. It made a nice change. www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/3010/turkey-thyme-and-leek-meatloaf

I use Turkey mince to make meatloaf, with sage and onion stuffing mix as the seasoning, one egg and usually blended or finely chopped mushrooms, peppers and any other veg leftover. I avoid onions though as they've it fall apart. 30-40 mins on 180, doesn't last long at all.

I use turkey mince to make burgers with chilli and mint to season them.

Google "Sainsbury's turkey & bean pasta" (sorry I'm on my phone and it logs me out of MN if I open a new page)

It's turkey mince, penne pasta, kidney beans, tomatoes, diced carrots and a tiny bit of mild chilli powder. We all love it and it's super easy to make.
