I have a 1 year old who is waking in the night and have been advised to give her a bit of supper before bed. Anybody else give their toddler supper and do you find it has the desired effect? If so what do you give them? Just struggling to fit it in at she eats dinner at 5 bath at 6.15 milk at 7 then bed confused

For lunch she usually has something with bread or toast, so sandwiches, beans ir scrambled egg on toast, sometimes pasta etc. 5 is the earliest I can give tea unfortunately as I'm not home from work until 4.30. Might trya slightly later bedtime.

My DGS went through this phase- had porridge for supper instead of milk

Cup of milk with a piece of toast or a bowl of weetabix.
This is how we weaned DD off bottles so it turned out pretty good.

Another vote for porridge, made in the microwave it's quick and easy too.
