quick pastry question

My recipe says to chill my pastry in the fridge for 10 minutes before rolling it. Would it cause any problems if I left it for an hour or so?

You'd probably need to warm it up again before you could use, otherwise no issues

Should be fine .... my recipe says at least an hour roll and put it back in the fridge. Stops it shrinking for short crust and keeps the butter cool & in layers for puff.
