I don't have a meat thermometer, and I'd rather not cut into it if I can avoid it. It's been on the stove in Coke for approx 2 and a half hours. It's 2.24 kg. I am going to glaze it and out it into the oven.
Stick a skewer or a carving fork into it. See how hot that is. If its hot its cooked! If you're going to glaze then bake it to finish it will be fine. It will carry on 'cooking' for a while after you've taken it out of the oven.
