And I'm now wondering - what can I do with all that lovely boozy leftover dried fruit? Any ideas?
Rum and Raisin ice-cream? Or in your case, rum, raisin, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange and all things festive ice cream!

Pestle and morter the shit out of the fruit and get all the liquid out! Makes a big difference to the amount of booze you get.

I used mine in BBC good food vodka Christmas cake. Worked perfectly
