Going to buy for MIL Xmas gift, she really likes this kind of cooking. I have always wanted one for myself but there are so many? Is the latest one any good? Should I just get the first one? Thanks all
My favourite is Jerusalem. The first one has good salads and bakes, however it has meat as well. Plenty and Plenty More are vegetarian books and have very creative dishes for vegetarians or flexitarians. (We do sometimes pair the dishes with meat).
I think If you aren't sure they are very big on vegetarian books, then get either the first or Jerusalem. Otherwise the two Plenties are the best vegetarian books I own.
whois actually waitrose has own brand zaatar, sumac and pomegranate molasses. But I guess if your local branch stock them depends on where you live? I get them from ocado which stock orange blossom water even! I think it's all because of the ottolenghi effect.
I have got Plenty and Ottolenghi. Plenty is veggie, but he does recommend some meat/fish ideas to go with them for those that are not vegetarian. Look for a deal online and get both! You can then swap and share
