Use for fish pie mix that isn't fish pie

I bought some fish mix and made a fish pie (white sauce and mash on top) with half. The kids hate it!

What can I do with the other half that doesn't involve a white or Cream based sauce?

That was quick!!!

I hadn't thought of rice based dishes but they would probably much prefer that.

Thanks!

Seafood pasta - either puttanesca sauce or a white wine sauce

I wasn't sure about fish with tomato (I'm vegetarian so don't cook by taste).

They eat a lot of pasta so wanted something to mix it up. I thought fish pie would be a good one but obviously not!

Do you think fish in a tomato based sauce would work with mash or pastry?

Fish cakes would be a good way to get ds to eat potato too

(Mild) fish curry? Usually use just white fish for that but don't see why it wouldn't work with the mix

Ds would like a curry but dd would shriek 'too spicy' no matter how mild!!!

My DS has loved fish curry since he's been v young (like 8 months?)

Do you have to tell dd it's curry?

Oh she will know!

I could make it for ds and dh and dd can go veggie with me

Kedgeree? Mmm. Too spicy still though I guess.
