We get a veg box delivered, and have had kohl rabi in it every week for a good few weeks, so it must be in season. But i dont recall seeing it in supermarkets. what about going to a fruit and veg market?

Had it last night in fact! yum.

Thanks, I'll tell her to go look on the market. I didn't even know what it was until she asked me and I googled it!

Got it in veg box here too, what the hell do you do with it?

I didn't know what it was either until it started arriving in our box!

What we've been doing is removing leaves and peeling off outer layer, then cutting it into smallish cubes or chunks, bit of olive oil and then roast for about 40 mins at 180ish. Season and add some grated parmesan to serve.

It's nice, although I couldn't really describe the flavour, sort of broccoli meets cabbage.

I think you can also slice it finely and use it in salads when raw, but not tried it.
