I have some cream of tartar and on the pack it says to mix it with bicarbonate of soda to make a simple baking powder. I've checked on both packets and I can't see anything in them that has any wheat, the cream of tartar says it is made of potassium titrates and the bicarbonate is just that nothing else added. It's there something I'm missing or would this result in gluten free baking powder?
It would save me buying a whole tub which won't get finished.
