Have seen a few American recipes that use vanilla pudding, both as a mix or ready made that I want to try.

Is there a British pudding substitute?

Yes that's it ilovepowerhoop it is quite expensive isn't it.

I saw a reference to angel delight Psychic it looks different to the one in the recipe though.

Is it really just custard lljkk?

www.browneyedbaker.com/2012/04/17/diy-homemade-instant-vanilla-pudding-mix/ - gives a recipe to make it yourself. I would imagine corn starch is corn flour.

Great thanks for that ilovepowerhoop I have everything except the milk powder and I think the corner shop has that.
