This is really good cutting out cookieswww.lakeland.co.uk/content/pdf/StarCookieTree.pdfIt's plain / vanilla but you could put vanilla bean bits in to make it more vanilla-y or play around with substituting some cocoa in it?You might also want to scale it down as it's a lot of dough!
Once you've made the dough roll it flat then put it in the fridge for an hour, much more likely to hold its shape in the oven
