So who else is having this and what you having?
We have Thai fish cakes (will do on grilled spiced courgettes), rack of lamb with rosties and veg and finally triple choc pudding. It probably does not 'match' but sounds yummy to me!! Now to get dd to bed and get that stove on!

I bought the Tesco meal deal this week chicken risotto wedges, profiter rolls and a six pack of cola all for a tenner. I'm no fan of Tesco but it was nice.

The fishy things looked gorgeous, but DH dont do fish....

We're having the baked camembert starter, beef wellington mains (I'm not keen on pastry so he'll get my crusks) with the potato/ tomato/ mozarella veg, and salted caramel cheesecakes. And Chardonnay.

I've bought the steak not on the dine in deal. It was so expensive I am terrified about over cooking it. SIXTEEN QUID for a couple of sirloins. Or is it fillet? the really thick, small round ones. (peppercorn sauce, bistro chips & med roast veg from the offer, then melting in the middle chocolate)

Coquilles st Jacques, the beef fillet wellington, some cabbage and peas thing ( also roast veg reduced to a pound), strawberries and the rose cava. Yum am looking forward to it, although I don't like pate, so I'm hoping it isn't too overwhelming in the beef wellington.

Coquilles St Jacques
Chicken & Parma Ham with pea & bean layer
Chocolate Soufflés
Cava & turkish delight (they'd run out of chocolate hearts)

Have addded a couple more chicken breasts for the DC and will cook my own potatos.

Mmmmm. Does anyone have any spare? Dh has said he is making a stir fry.
Mind you,he is also proposing to go out on his push bike to get the ingredients. Has he not noticed the gale and torrential rain? I fear my dinner may not happen.
