Savoury vaguely healthy breakfast I can take to work?

I take breakfast to work everyday which consists of cold toast which I love with inch thick butter or a mashed avacado-I love both but could do with a healthier alternative-all I've come up with so far is boiled eggs-it's got to be something I can cook/make and eat at work cold-cold pizza and takeaways are my friend so I can eat most things without needing to heat them up-any ideas gratefully received.

would frittata do?

cold sausages and hardboiled eggs.

Actually chop up the eggs and sausages with some cold new potatoes and mix together. Can add some cherry tomatoes, or mustard or ketchup if that's your thing - a sort of breakfast potato salad!

Frittata a fab idea, I adore omelettey/frittata type things hot or cold. i love them with onion, broccoli and pepper and cheese in.

Chunks of avocado, cherry tomatoes, cold chopped up bacon and maybe some lettuce/baby spinach - add a vinagriette. Loosely based on a BLT

Greek yogurt with some berries/banana/nuts/seeds you can add when you get there.

Great ideas!! Hadn't thought of a frittata-used to make a Delia one that I loved and could make enough for a good three days-love the BLT idea too and cold sausages would be great - thank you, v much appreciated

I just remembered taking omelette to work a while ago
gently fry 1/2 sliced red pepper in a tbsp of butter
(it could be done whilst you are taking your shower as it takes uo to 20 min to nicely soften it)
on top of it pour a mix of 1 egg and 2 yolks
cover with a lid for 6-7 min

I used to do it in the mornings as part of low carbing

That potato salad looks really good-much fresher than the traditional one

Similar to frittata but Spanish tortilla is delicious

you can make a sort of crustless individual quiche in silicone muffin cases.... bacon , mushrooms cheese or whatever filling with beaten egg and baked . a small pan of six will keep all week and you can put any left over veggies you like also
