Beef stroganoff

I'm cooking a buffet style lunch for 5 adults and 3 children this Sunday at Lunch. I'm cooking but not hosting. The meal should be capable of pre cooking and re heating. And I'd quite like to cook it Saturday evening.

I've 1 other msin plus 2 side dishes to do plus 2 puddings. That's all in hand.

Can anyone help with a beef stroganoff recipe suitable for reheating?

Traditional stroganoff is made with fillet or sirloin which is effectively flash fried.

This is a "one pot" oven cooked dish which uses a cheaper cut of meat as it is cooked for longer. It is delicious and easily reheated.
