Guests coming. If we BBQ for lunch what shall I feed them for dinner?

Trying to avoid too much work. I shall make some interesting salads and we've got a variety of BBQ things to eat. That will take me a couple of hours to prep as I'll make a pud too.
Ordinarily dh and I wouldn't bother with dinner after a big BBQ, we would just feed the kids in the evening and maybe eat some leftovers much later.
So any ideas for a post BBQ dinner? Wondering about making a lasagne the day before and giving that to adults and kids?

Leftovers. Sandwiches from leftovers.

Would you not be disappointed with that as a guest? She is a fabulous cook. Maybe I could do a puff pastry tart type thing that we could have with the leftover salads?

Cheese plate with celery, pickles etc and fruit plate (could always some melt some chocolate )andvmaybe some hot nibbles, crisps etc if you think necessary.
I would not each much after a lunch bbq just maybe a bit of cheese.

I do not think you need a meal as a bbq tends to be quite filling with all that meat.

We have to do adults and kids meal because they're not staying the night, will head for home 8ish so will need to feed everyone at 6ish. Cheese board with nice bits sounds good. Could get olives and stuffed little peppers and things. Could do sandwiches for the kids.

Nooo. People stuff themselves at barbeques. Sandwiches. Nice cake etc. The barbeque is the main event.

Something light and elegant, maybe a gazpacho or fennel salad with goat's cheese and a selection of little rolls.

Fennel is lovely treated right.
Thinly sliced, dressed with olive oil and served with orange and olives.
Delightful.

I like olives, marzipan, and anchovies. You are thinking of coriander. Eurgh. I'm going to do cheese board, prosciutto, olives, anchovies etc and naice bread. Is only one family, not a big do
