Just wondering what your 3yo little ones ate today.

Looking for a bit of inspiration before I do the food shop tomorrow Wink

My Ds is 2.5.

He ate strawberries and blueberries with toast for breakfast.
Lunch was hummous and ryvitas wit cheese cubes and then some grapes and blueberries. (They are his current fad).

He had an ice cream at the beach and a biscuit late afternoon.

Tea was pasta with an olive and tomato sauce.

He likes picnic food when it's hot and isn't eating as much as normal (portion sizes)

UnicornsPooGlitter · 07/07/2013 22:45

Too many Weetabix
A nut butter wrap
Half an apple
A banana
A couple of pieces of pasta from my lovely homemade mushroom carbonara
A piece of porridge bread
No bloody vegetables

UnicornsPooGlitter · 07/07/2013 22:45

Oh, and lots of milk

ThePskettiIncident · 07/07/2013 22:46

What is porridge bread?

UnicornsPooGlitter · 07/07/2013 22:52

It's a recipe that came with my bread maker - it's probably a bit closer to cake in reality though, it has porridge oats, eggs, and syrup in it.

I'm having a wobble about DS's diet at the moment, he's really reduced what he actually likes. Cheese mostly Grin. Then houmous.

DS is 2.

He had a boiled egg and toast for breakfast.

A banana mid morning with about 200 ml milk.

A roast chicken leg a bread roll and some cucumber for lunch. Followed by grapes.

An ice cream and some chocolate buttons and an apple with more milk this afternoon.

And he will have a bit of spaghetti carbonara for tea.

He eats less as the day goes on and quite small portions but isnt fussy. Except he hates hates hates cheese.

Cherrypie32 · 31/07/2013 21:08

Pear, yoghurt, porridge at my neighbours (while I had my nails done).
Fish fingers, chips & sweet corn at soft play.
Smarties ice cream.
Ham sandwich, small sausage roll, cucumber pieces another yoghurt.
Milk before bed.

bulletwithbutterflywings · 31/07/2013 21:15

Bowl of shreddies, small fromage frais
Small box of raisins, goodies bar
Cheese and pickle wrap, fromage frais tube, bite of battenberg.

Usually he eats lots of fruit and some veggies - not sure what went wrong today!

DS is 4 but he ate:

Brioche, rice crispies and a plum for breakfast.
Grapes for a snack.
Blueberries, choc spread bagel, crisps, baby bel, yoghurt and some raspberries at picnic lunch.
Haribo and some raisins at the cinema in afternoon.
Pepperoni pizza with a large salad for tea.

Not the most nutritious day, bit snacky because of cinema and picnic. He also eats a tonne of fruit everyday, which I used to worry about it giving him the trots all the time but his digestive system seems immune!

littlemefi · 31/07/2013 21:23
